I did all the texturing in Substance Painter. The majority of the textures were a combination of premade materials and smart masks to add dirt/sand etc. Since I had so many files to go through I couldn't afford to spend more than 10 minutes on a single item unless it was very large and complex or a hero asset.
I used some textures files I bought from 'Joao Paulo' - Texture Artist. His pateron and a link to his work can be found here.
